Dr. Ken Schofield, Principal of Chaparral Elementary School in the Washington Elementary School District, is currently in his first year serving on the AZ ASCD Board. Kens holds a Bachelor of Science in Family Community Services from Michigan State University, a Master of Arts in Early Childhood from Northern Arizona University, and an Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University. Ken has been in education for 27 years and has taught preschool, kindergarten, and second grade in both public and private schools. Ken was selected as a Fulbright Administrator Exchange Scholar in 2008, completing a principal exchange with a colleague in Rosario, Argentina. Ken is presently serving on the Correll Book Award selection Committee.
