AZ ASCD is proud to announce a Spring PD opportunity with Dr. Fred Skoglund, the author of; Student Success: How To Make It Happen.

Dr. Skoglund has a data-proven system for campuses that increases productivity, academic achievement, and behavior expectations through a systematic approach based on individual campus data.

Dr. Skoglund has earned the respect of colleagues across Arizona for his work as a classroom teacher, coach, principal and for this fifteen years of services as the Assistant Superintendent for secondary education in the Mesa Unified School District.  He has gained national recognition as a speaker for ASCD, The Center for Educational Accountability, Effective Schools, The National Association of Secondary School Principals and for his published writings.

Dr. Skoglund is the founder and president of Viking Solutions, a consulting firm dedicated to enhancing educator performance and elevating student achievement.  He is the creator of the Continuous Improvement System.  For the past ten years he has assisted under-performing schools in Arizona to successfully implement the CIS and significantly raise AIMS scores on these campuses.
